mirror housing - this item is an affordable attractive replacement. Probably cheaper then what a junk-yard would charge, and offers a pristine surface if you intend to color-match to the existing body color.
Installation was easy - pry off the interior plastic trim aft of the door A-pillar and then simply ratchet off the five 8-mm bolts - be careful not to drop any nuts in the door cavity. The electrical connection is either a simple plug to the existing wiring or if the damage is extensive or the older plugs are ripped off and missing it is easy to splice into the existing door wiring - this new mirror has color coded wiring to make things easy.
This purchase was a gift for my girlfriend and she saved well over $300 dollars by having me replace with this unit as opposed to having the dealer refit the mirror.
